Church is not Cancelled – it’s Online and Thriving!

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, said today that ‘the church is reinventing itself and 10,000s of more more people have watched services online than guise who go to our churches of a Sunday!’

At St Mary’s we have Live Streamed reflections and services over the past week and Paul & I plan to continue as long as Public Worship is suspended in our churches – and perhaps we’ll continue after we can meet in church again!

If you’d like to watch our Live Streams you can watch them here. https://www.facebook.com/watch/406337176077019/ if the link takes you to our Facebook homepage click on the ‘Videos’ tab on the menu bar underneath the Star Rating!

We plan to Facebook Live this Sunday’s Service from 10:30am, but due to the new social distancing advice, and to keep us safe, it will be Mike on his own in St Mary’s and Paul from home! Hopefully you can join us virtually.

Sunday’s Service will be a shortened Communion Service with songs, readings and a reflection. If you have a hymn you’d like included please let us know via Facebook, Twitter or email and we’ll try and do the most popular three!
